Organic Apples

Our Organic Approach by Richard Spanton Jr

Our goal at Orchard Ridge Farms will be to create a sustainable crop of apple trees using the most organic approach available. We will not use commercial insecticides, pesticides and herbicides, replacing them with organic versions, beneficial insects and plants, to ensure our apples are human friendly for consumption. "I will feel much better when someone takes a bite out of our apple right on the spot". "I grew tomatoes this year that are completely organic and I just pop them in my mouth from the plant, no pesticides to worry about!" - Chrissie Spanton

Although apples will be a main part of ORF’s core business, we will also be growing pumpkins as a fall crop along with numerous fresh vegetables. All items will be for sale at our Future Farm Market along Yale Bridge Rd approximately in 2010.

We look forward to producing high quality Organic fruits and vegetables along with delicious pies, cookies and ciders for your enjoyment.
