Must-have Hors d’oeuvres

AH! The power of food. Even the smallest bite can hold the most importance. Here are a few thoughts inspired by Henrici’s Catering.

Keep it Fun & Personal.

Choose menu items where you can incorporate your favorite food or something that is meaningful to your story. Don’t be afraid to think outside of the box.  Who says that these small bites can’t be great conversation starters for you and your guests. They may even up bring funny stories of how you met… Perhaps you met at a carnival or had a late night gyro run on your first date!

Your guests are hungry, make it hearty!

Your guests have traveled, checked into hotels, and sat through your “I Do’s”.  As they enter cocktail hour, the drinks are flowing and it’s time to eat. It’s important to remember that in order for your guests to keep up energy and dance the night away, they’ll need a few heartier options to keep em’ full and happy.

Create a show stopping display.

In addition to butler passed hors d’oeuvres, consider a display. This offers a ton of variety and keeps your guests munching. They won’t tire of the choices and it’s a wonderful way to incorporate your design into the menu.
